The impact of the earthquake-tsunami disaster stirred a multitude of emotions from shock, grief, gratitude of some life spared, and to most of all, compassion. SEG International Bhd (SEGi) did its part to contribute to the tsunami relief fund.

A cheque of RM50,000.00 made out to the “Tabung Bencana Tsunami” was presented to YB Dato' Dr. Haji Shafie bin Mohd Salleh , Minister of Higher Learning by Dato' Clement Hii, Chief Executive Officer of SEGi at a ceremony at Putrajaya. The event was witnessed by YB Dato' Fu Ah Kiow, the Deputy Minister and other officials at the Ministry.

Being one of Malaysia 's largest private education provider and a responsible corporate citizen, Hii said, it was important to remember the needy and less fortunate.
