When asked, D'orville explained, “SEGi College Petaling Jaya, is introducing a special Secretarial and Administrative Professional Development Diploma with a pathway to a Business Practice Diploma Programme for all levels of clerical, secretarial and administrative personnel which has been designed to fulfill the requirements of demanding organisations.”
D'orville added, “The programme of one year duration, comprises of two elements; one covering technical skills and the other communicative skills. Students will have the chance to learn valuable career skills as well as develop their English Language abilities. The minimum entry level to enter the programme is two credits in SPM and students are prepared for the City and Guilds (UK) Diploma which is internationally recognised.”

Upon successful completion of this programme, students have the opportunity qualify for advanced standing for a UK Honours Degree Programme in Business Administration which will increase the likelihood of finding a more challenging job with greater responsibility, better promotion opportunities and higher remuneration.
SEGi College Petaling Jaya has a strong reputation in providing professional programmes. Other than the LCCI and ACCA programme, the college also offers CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing).
3+0 degree programmes are also available in SEGi College Petaling Jaya.
