Motivational Entertainment at SEGi College

Students enjoying the Qhalam Vision Motivational Entertainment performance

19th January 2006 Motivational Entertainment by Qhalam Vision (QV) was presented for the first time in Malaysia at SEGi College, Subang Jaya (formerly known as PRIME College USJ). Attending the Motivational Entertainment were 153 MLVK (Majlis Latihan Vokasional Kebangsaan) students as well as students of the Graduate Training Scheme (GTS). The programme focused on appreciating yourself and building self confidence, recognising your strength and weaknesses, as well as positive thinking. Upcoming talents of the entertainment industry - Nor Zamshuri Hj. Ramli (Zam Skuad Elit) and Mohd. Rashdan Bin Halim (Rashdan Baba) - are the founding members of Qhalam Vision. QV's approach to motivation via entertainment is a fresh outlook as it is done through songs with inspirational lyrics and books. QV has release an album of inspirational songs.

“Hopefully the album will inspire people and motivate them as well. This is our special contribution to the nation,” said Nor Zamshuri.

Nor Zamshuri has also published a motivational book entitled, Sedarkah Anda? 10 Langkah Kejayaan . QV's Motivational Entertainment is fast gaining popularity with fast-selling CDs and positive feedback from audience and fans.

The performance was a hit as QV as it captivated the attention of the audience with songs Jujur, Bersyukur and Kelebihan Diri, that many joined in and sang along with the performers. The performers also did a group cheer of “I'm the best, you're the best, we're the best!” to boost confidence and self-esteem.

“I've enjoyed the performance as there was a lot of fun and good cheer. It has also helped build up my confidence level,” said Maizatul, a GTS student.

The College plans to hold more of such events in the future following the success of this Motivational Entertainment.
