Despite injuries, sportsmanship spirit still ends high

30 May 2009

Following the success of the first bowling friendly match, held in 2008, a second match SEGi College Penang vs KDU Penang friendly match organized by the SEGi Sports Club committee was held on Saturday, 30th May 2009 at the Penang Bowl.

A total of four bowlers from each college participated in this event. Every individual was to play three games with a total of six games in a team of two. After a tensed match where each team tried their best to outdo the other, both SEGi teams’ effort paid off; and they won the overall pin scores. “It is worth it even after long weeks of practices” said the team. However, most of all, they enjoyed and shared the unique fields of different bowling techniques.

Sports develop the heart, the mind and leverage the emotional power of personality of athletes besides academic excellence. This event fosters closer ties between SEGi college Penang and KDU Penang. Congratulations to both our bowling teams for their great achievements.
