American Degree Program (ADP) students class of Communication in the Workplace (COMM 206) of SEGi College Subang Jaya attended an exciting talk entitled ‘Meet Dato' Sri Idris Jala, CEO of Malaysia Airlines and ask him your burning questions!’ at the Malaysian Airlines Academy (MAA) on 2 June 2009.

It was an inspiring talk by Dato’ Idris about his leadership and making the “impossible” possible in MAS.  A heart-robbing hidden talent of Dato’ Idris was unleashed and brought about excitement and cheer among the crowd of 250 people. He is a surprisingly good guitar player.

He captured SEGi students’ attention by merely portraying his courage, audacity and most of all his humility, which makes him an extraordinary captivating individual. The man of wisdom did not only share his work experience, but also his life journey which left a long-lasting impact on the youngsters.

This informative session ended well with an exciting lucky draw to five destinations around the world – Bali, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Brisbane and Rome. The lucky star shone on Ms Padma, the ADP lecturer who accompanied the students to the event and won two tickets to Brisbane.
