Diploma in Mobile Computing

In an increasingly technology world, we are relying on mobile applications to perform out daily transactions through PDA, mobile phones and other mobile computer devices. More and more business operators are developing their business strategic solutions based on mobile computing. This trend has created a huge need and opportunity for students with mobile computing expertise.

The Diploma in Mobile Computing combines three key areas of study: information technology, mobile technology and business skills. At the end of the course, students will be well-equipped with the knowledge and skills to design, develop and deploy efficient mobile applications for mobile commerce, edutainment games and wireless system infrastructure.

Students are required to complete 6 core groups in mobile computing technology related areas. The focus is on the fundamental knowledge and skills required of IT professionals, with an emphasis on mobile technology and mobile-business concepts. In addition, Project and Industrial Training modules will give a practical experience for students to be involved in the industry. The opportunity will allow the students to gain first-hand experience working at established organisations.
