The main philosophy in the establishment of CEPi is to assist in the protection, preservation and rehabilitation of the wealth of biological and ecological resources within the State of Selangor Darul Ehsan.

SEGi is presently tapping into its network of partner universities and strategic partners to form a panel of environmental experts to serve on CEPi's Board of Scientific & Technical Experts. Members of the Board will provide inputs and guidance to CEPi on its activities and serve as authorities in respective fields to render assistance and advice to CEPi and to the relevant authorities on matters and issues relating to the environment.
